Welcome to Edinburgh Futures Institute and the launch of Scotland’s new AI Strategy and AI Scotland, a national programme designed to accelerate AI adoption, innovation and sustainable economic growth.
Today’s event will explore how Scotland can harness artificial intelligence to strengthen its economy, support SMEs and drive responsible innovation. Ministerial addresses and expert panel discussions will highlight opportunities for collaboration, the infrastructure needed to support AI development, and hear from businesses, public sector and industry how adoption of AI is already shaping Scotland’s place in the global AI ecosystem.
The half-day programme will feature contributions from senior government, industry and academic leaders, concluding with the launch and presentation of Scotland’s new AI Strategy.
